Freelance Status Wordpress Widget

To show my availability as a freelancer in my blog’s sidebar I wrote this little wordpress-widget. (This software is of course provided “as is” and you download and/or use it completely at your own risk.)

freelance-status_0.0.6.zip

Installation:

Extract the “freelance_status”-folder in the “wp-content/plugins”-folder resulting in a “wp-content/plugins/freelance_status”-folder.

Usage:

After successful installation the “Freelance Status”-widget is availabe and can be added to any sidebar.

Options:

  • Status description
    The description of your status, e.g. “I am currently…”
  • Current status
    Selects the currently displayed state (A or B)
  • Status A text
    Text for state A, e.g. “…unavailable”
  • Status A color
    Background-color for state A
  • Status B text / Status B color
    see Status A text / Status A color
  • Subline
    a short addition to the current state (A and B), e.g. a “until next year”
